Free-Mind Therapy is dedicated to influencing mental health policies and programs in and outside Uganda through partnership.
We work to champion the concept of mental health to reduce stigma and discrimination against victims and those at risk by promoting their rights. Barriers to effective treatment of mental illness include a lack of recognition of the seriousness of the mental illness and a lack of understanding about the benefits of services. Policymakers, health and labor policies, and the public at large all discriminate between physical and mental problems.
Partnerships
Our Team, in partnership with other entities, reaches out to communities with the help of government, civil society organizations, community groups, NGOs, etc., to raise awareness about mental disorders and their Negative impacts on life. We have established a community-based information reception through which community members feel comfortable reporting any related mental challenge.
